Katherine "Kitty" Gillespie Sherrin attended school in Kilcar, not Coguish.

Moved to USA and married. Reportedly had two sons and two daughters. Either she or one of them in USA married a Sheerin. Other names include Doogan and Delaney. One of the grandaunts in US may have or had daughter who married a man with the last name Delaney. See Pat G's B&P #7. See Nellie DePeters who had daughter, Mary Delaney.

Mary Ellen Gallagher's sister, Nora Angela G. O'Donnell met members of the Sherrin Family at a funeral in NY. Nora Angela also met members or decendents of Nellie DePeters.

It was reported that Nellie and Kitty visited Kilcar around the late 1920's based on a recollection of Con Gillespie. He recalled that he rec'd some pencils from the great aunts inscribed with Al Smith's bid for the Presidency. This would have been around 1928. Presuming that travel was easier prior to the Depression in 1929, and with their estimated age of 70.
