Ref. Ned Gillespie #886
According to Ed Gillespie, Ned was an "inveterate gambler", & batchelor
who emigrated to Arizona in 1908. He died in Prescott, AZ. Apparently,
he went to Oakland, CA to prospect for gold. Copper mines were also
big in AZ at the time. It is unlikely that he was part of the California Gold
rush as he wasn't born then. He may have followed his uncle's steps
however.
